English Language Institute
The English Language Institute (ELI) is a business cooperation venture between The University of Danang, Vietnam and The University of Queensland, Australia. ELI offers a range of English language training programs to suit entry levels from beginners to advanced learners.
Located in central Vietnam, ELI offers English language training to individuals, government and corporations. Courses in English language, learning skills, academic skills, IELTS preparation, Teacher education and English for Specific Purposes are principal programs at the ELI. The ELI is an IELTS Test Administration Centre serving Central Vietnam.
ELI is a purpose built language training centre offering comfortable classrooms, a Resource Centre, multimedia laboratories and administrative offices. Learners participate in classes and undertake self study in the Resource Centre and multimedia laboratories. Resources to support learning are available in print, visual, audio and online.
After 12 years of operation in 2003 - 2016. In 2016, the business cooperation contract between Danang University and University of Queensland has been terminated and ELI has completed the mission of establishing and improving English language skills for Workforce in Danang and Central Vietnam. The center is closed but the spirit of continuous creativity and learning is still there in every person who has been a part of the ELI, every employee, every teacher, student.
This website is maintained as a way to continue that spirit, we keep honorable memories, the way we treat each other and our students, which we are proud of when we think about . Here, you can find commemorative images of activities, shared videos of English learning that were used at the center. In addition, the website also connects activities and ideas related to teaching and learning English, learning English experiences, learning resources and materials.
